We’re doing maintenance and upgrades to improve the site during certain time periods. The HealthCare.gov website itself is still available. This means you can learn about the Marketplace and be well prepared when the system is available again.

Here are some things you won’t be able to do during a maintenance period:

  • Create an account or log in to your existing account
  • Apply for Marketplace coverage
  • Upload documents or update your income or household information
  • Enroll in or change your plan

If you’re applying for 2014 coverage with a Special Enrollment Period, you can learn more about the process here. Then return to the site after the maintenance period to work on your application and enroll in a plan.

Thanks for your patience. Our team is working hard to improve HealthCare.gov and provide the best service possible.
